History: Originating from the visionary mind of E.H. Taylor, this bundle is a testament to his innovative spirit. In 1869, Taylor acquired a distillery in Frankfurt, Kentucky, later named The Old Fire Copper Distillery. He revolutionized the industry by introducing copper fermentation tanks, advanced grain grinding equipment, and unique columnar stills. Taylor's pioneering techniques included aging whiskey in climate-controlled warehouses, setting a new standard amid a time when other distillers used additives to enhance flavor and color. His partnership with Treasury Secretary John G. Carlisle led to the Bottled-In-Bond Act of 1897, ensuring that bonded spirits were produced by one distiller, at one distillery, during one distillation season, under strict government supervision.
