Indulge in the rich flavors of this 1994 bourbon, part of a celebrated series of vintage bourbons. This exquisite bourbon is made from Mash Bill #1, a blend of corn, rye, and malted barley with a lower rye content. The nose reveals complex herbaceous aromas intertwined with sweet vanilla, rich butterscotch, and earthy oak notes. On the palate, savor subtle toasted caramel and delicate cinnamon spices, leading to a lingering finish with hints of espresso and oak.
Honoring the legacy of the O.F.C. Distillery, now recognized as a National Historic Landmark, this 1994 bourbon celebrates its storied past. Established in 1869 by Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr., the Old Fashioned Copper Distillery was a pioneer with its copper fermentation vats, column stills, and innovative steam heating system, still used today. This distinguished bourbon, released in December 2018, is a rare collector's item with only 822 bottles produced. Each one is housed in a wooden box, crafted from hand-cut crystal, and adorned with real copper lettering dating back to the year of distillation. The hand-applied paper label and Provence card further attest to its exclusivity.
Please drink responsibly, you must be at least 21 years of age to enjoy alcoholic beverages.
