Meticulously crafted at the renowned Buffalo Trace Distillery, this coveted release is often hailed as "Liquid Gold". It is a single barrel bourbon, expertly aged for 6 to 8 years, embodying a harmonious blend of tradition and excellence.

Delectably composed using Mash Bill #2—a sour mash comprised of corn, rye, and malted barley—this special edition matures gracefully in American White Oak casks. On the nose, it reveals tart, well-cooked citrus notes reminiscent of rich oranges and bright lemons, subtly mingling with mild hints of oak and vanilla. The palate experiences a soft, silky texture infused with rich cream, cardamom, ginger, and a touch of spice. The finish is slightly bitter with a creamy coating, offering a refined tasting journey.

This limited edition bourbon is specially curated for La Maison du Whisky in Paris. It was drawn from barrel #21 on July 31st and aged in the distinct Rick number 53, known for its unique metal-clad construction that affects temperature fluctuations during aging. Bottled at 55% ABV, this expression is a tribute to the legacy of Elmer T. Lee and Colonel Albert Bacon Blanton, who pioneered exceptional bourbon at the George T. Stagg Distillery, now Buffalo Trace.

Blanton's special edition is notable for its high quality and rarity, making each bottle a prized possession. The iconic horse stopper, introduced in 1999, spells out "B-L-A-N-T-O-N-S" with each letter corresponding to a different position in a horse race, creating a collectible allure. Please note that international bottles are 700 ml compared to the 750 ml domestic versions.
